Whoops. I swear I didn’t forget about you guys. Although I totally did. But let’s not dwell on that, let’s dwell on today’s song, which is a remix involving the Beastie Boys. The incomparable Fatboy Slim puts on a hell of a mediocre live show. But, more relevant, he is good at repurposing other people’s work (examples A, B, and C). I’m so happy that people stopped watching West Wing so they could stop trying to get people to watch the show and get back to writing compelling interesting shows!

My buddy Evan is currently in Iraq performing some tasks on behalf of Democracy, and he sent me a video he took on his ride in a Blackhawk helicopter. It’s sort of amazing to me that he is there, flying over that. I’m a little bit scared on his behalf, but he seems to be doing okay. Anyway, here’s the video.
