Its very Coen-y, perhaps a little too Coen-y for some people, but it is just a very well done movie - the plot is interesting, the acting is fantastic and, as with all Coen Brothers films, the sound and cinematography are first-rate. I definitely would have it on my list.<br><br>Unrelated, but I watched Barton Fink last night for the first time in years and that is another incredible early Coen Brothers movie. Miller's Crossing is a great movie. Its very Coen-y, perhaps a little too Coen-y for some people, but it is just a very well done movie – the plot is interesting, the acting is fantastic and, as with all Coen Brothers films, the sound and cinematography are first-rate. I definitely would have it on my list.
