The Redskins beat the hated Eagles to seize the last spot in the playoffs. This is awesome–their first trip to the postseason since the last millenium–but the best part about it is really that it gives me an opportunity to link to this page on the Redskins website. Navigate on over to the Clinton Portis video and prepare yourself for the most hilarious 12 minutes and 29 seconds undetermined amount of time of your life. Portis has been wearing ridiculous outfits to his press conferences just about every week this season, but he stepped it up big time last week in anticipation of the pivotal game. That’s right–this week marked the return of Southeast Jerome, who came all the way from heaven and brought a posse with him.
My favorite question is “how did Johnny White Guy get his name” but generally the best part is how the press can’t stop laughing. Sadly, Portis suggests that this appearance may be the last dress-up party of the year. At least his swan song was a masterpiece.
