Fox, you’ve made a huge mistake.

Fox announced that after the 13 episodes they already ordered, Arrested Development is fucking cancelled. Goddammit, why won’t you people watch more television?

Although I have to admit, Arrested Development’s last few episodes haven’t been as funny as usual. Except for GOB, who rules, and George Michael, who rules, it’s mostly been jokes that are only amusing because of how dirty they are (managing to get the word “pussy” on the air during prime time is pretty impressive) and, astonishingly, the revelation that a character who seemed odd is in fact mentally retarded. But, of course, a mediocre episode of Arrested Development is still a thousand times better than the best episode of Joey, and several million times better than any Paris Hilton vehicle. Anyway, I’m sad.
