Hey, what have I been up to?
I flew to Oakland and met up with my friend Jeff. I landed at 11am local time and we went directly to a bar where we had beers and played chess til 1am. At this point the jetlag caught up with me and we went to sleep. I slept on a mattress on the floor underneath his loft–I christened this area “the Cave.”
The next day, we drove north to Boonville, to the Anderson Valley Brewing Company. There, we tasted some beers:
We also saw “Beer” the bear:
Next, some of us took the beer tour. Then we all went out and played disc golf on the awesome course. It was really pretty difficult, but I did in fact destroy the competition by a score of 75 to 84 to 88.

Then we left there and ate prime rib at Cattlemen’s. Then we fell asleep really early because we had accomplished so much that day.
On Thursday, Jeff and I went bowling and then I came downtown to San Francisco to see some old friends from college. We played Asshole and made fun of each other. It was just like the good old days. Then we went to some bar for a while, and then we watched Entourage at 2am. Then sleep.
Which brings us to today. I have not done much so far, but this evening I’m flying to Los Angeles to see more college friends. It should be pretty great.
How are you?
